Day 4

Yesterday was odd, today was insane.

I woke up with Brienda gone. I was kind of scared, but I thought she was downstairs. I went down there and didn't see her. I started to panic a little bit. I left the inn and looked around the market of Whiterun. The stalls and buildings, stairs and water to my right.
No Brienda. Then, out of no where I woke up in the inn, again. I looked next to me and saw her there, safe and sound. I shook my head and got up.
I went down to the inn and looked around no one was there. Well, I couldn't see anyone there. I was walking toward the door out and I bumped into someone.
"Look where you going!" Something said to me. I couldn't see anyone, for some reason.
"Oh, sorry." I said to him. I continued to the door with no mistakes. I opened the door and found myself in Riverwood, at the door of the inn. I looked left and saw what was there before, looked right and saw nothing. I felt like I was going insane. Was I dreaming? I don't know.
I carefully walked toward the blacksmith in Riverwood. I knocked on the door and it slid open.
"J'zeshi!" I heard a voice, Brienda's voice.
I found myself walking out of the Bannered Mare.
"Wha-where are we?" I stumbled.
"Are you alright? We're in Whiterun, remember?" She responded.
"Y-yeah." I looked around at the town, the sky and the people.
"You look scared. J'zeshi-"
"Hold on," I stopped her. I got out my dagger from my tunic and sliced my wrist,"Ah!"
"What's wrong with you?" She screamed.
I dropped the dagger on the ground and held my arm. Citizens were looking at me.
"I said, what's wrong, J'zeshi?!" She demanded.
I bent down and picked up my dagger. I put it back in my tunic and shook it off, "I'm fine."
"Why did you do that?" She asked me, angrily.
"I...I dunno. I felt weird. How much coin do we have?" I changed the subject.
"Let me check," She replied,"103."
"Let's get some food, then."
We walked over to a vegetable stand.
"What do you have?" I asked.
"What you see." The owner said.
I looked and saw some carrots. I had always been a fan of carrots.
...I think.
"I'll take some carrots," I told her,"How much?"
"Three for six." She responded.
"Alright," I handed her the coin and took the food. Brienda looked at me funny,"What?"
"You've never eated carrots before."
"So?" I chewed,"Here." I handed it to her.
"Is there a place we can sell rings?" I asked the vegetable vendor.
"Yeah, Belethor's shop over there," She pointed.
"Thank you."
We walked over to Belthor's shop and opened the door.
I found myself coming out of the inn, like before. I stood there for a few seconds. I saw Brienda looking at me. The same way as before.
"J'zeshi!" Brienda screamed.
"Let's go to the general store..." I said.
I walked over to the general store and opened the door. We made it this time. I took out the
ring and placed it on the desk.
"How much?" I asked.
"Let me see..." He stopped, the room stopped. I turned. Brienda was paused in place as well.
Next thing I knew, it was night time and I was on the floor of the store.
"J'zeshi!" Brienda screamed.
"I'm alright..." I told her,"Where's that ring? The coin?"
"Here, it's fine. He gave us 146 gold for it!" She said.
I knew that ring was cursed. Something about it scared me. I hope this will end the visions.
Let's go to the inn and sleep..." I told her.
"Hey, Khajiit," The shop owner called to me,"Next time down lay on my floor for hours."
"Sorry, sir. I haven't been feeling well."
"Hope you're alright. Have a nice day."
We went back to the inn and rented the room again. I started writing in the journal. I hope this odd thing is over now.

>Hope you're alright. Sorry, but I needed to find out what was wrong.

Day 3

Today was odd. Very odd.
I woke up to a loud shaking roar. I jumped out of my bed and left my room. Everyone in the room looked confused. I left the inn and looked around, saw nothing, and went back in.
"What was it?" The bard asked me.
"I don't know." I answered.
I went to Brienda's door and knocked. After a few seconds she opened it,"What's wrong?"
"Nothing," I answered, "Just checking."
She opened the door fully and came out. She gathered her things and I did as well. We said goodbye to the inn keeper and left the building.
"Where should we go?" Brienda asked.
"Head north," I answered, "By the way, how much coin did you spend?"
"Not much," She handed me the sack,"Just bought some bread before sleep."
"Oh, alright."
We headed north and walked across a stone bridge over the fast water. We saw the crashing waves of the waterfall as we went up the swiveling cobble path. As we were traveling we met an injured Argonian.
"Are you alright?" Brienda rushed over to him.
"I need help..." He muttered, he looked sickly.
"He looks sick." I told Brienda.
"I need..." He swallowed,"need..."
A few seconds later he collapsed.
"What was wrong with him?" Brienda yelped.
"I don't know, but let's search him." I suggested.
"Why?"
"He's clearly dead. Whatever he had could help us out."
We looked through his knapsack and found some coin. We also found a ring that lit blue.
"What is that?" Brienda asked.
"Looks like a magical ring." I pondered, holding it.
"Looks valuable."
"Maybe we should sell it whenever we find a place."
I took the ring and placed it in my sack. I moved my hand slowly across his face, shutting his eyes. Whatever happened to him wasn't pretty.
We continued on the cobble path and saw a very very odd thing. Deja vu.
"Hey! Are you alright?" Brienda screamed dashing over to another injured argonain, her tail swinging.
"Huh, is he alive?" I asked.
"No..."
"Let's move then, it's starting to get a little dark. I hope to find a town before night."
"No more caves." She chuckled, glancing at the dead argonian.
After a few more hours of walking the cobble path we saw giant walls in the distance.
"What's that?" Brienda asked.
"It should be Whiterun." I answered. I had read of Dragonsreach before and the giant tower in the walls seemed to fit the description. Dragonsreach was apparently the trap for dragons in the legends.
We kept walking toward the hold. On our path, we saw a nord with war paint sprawled across her face walk by. She said nothing, and just kept walking.
We saw a few buildings on the outside of Whiterun, but everyone was inside. We approached the gates and were halted by a guard.
"No one comes in without a reason!" He yelled, up top on the walls.
"We're looking for a place to stay for a night," I told him,"Can we?"
"We're gonna search you both! Khajiit can't be trusted."
He lowered the gate and let us in. We were on a slight hump of a stone bridge first in town.
"Alright, let me see that sack, khajiit," He pointed. I gave it to him,"Alright, you seem alright, follow the path until the market and you'll see a big building, The Bannered Mare, you can get a room there."
"Thank you." I took the sack back and we went walking. The people of the town seemed to be heading for sleep. We saw the building and went inside.
"Welcome, need a room?" A nord greeted us from the counter.
"Yes, any available?" Brienda asked.
"We got one for thirty coin."
"Alright, we have enough," I handed her the gold,"Where is it?"
"Up those stairs." She pointed.
We walked and saw a few nords sitting, singing songs.
"Never seen a cat folk before,"A nord said,"Where you two from?"
"Nowhere, really. we just roam." I answered.
"Don't cause trouble." He warned and ended the conversation.
We found the stairs and went up. We saw double doors and opened them...
but... we found ourselves at the entrance to the inn again.
"Welcome, need a room?" The nord greeted us again.
"Yes, any available?" Brienda asked.  She didn't seem confused.
"We got one for thirty coin."
I paused for a moment," Uh, yes. We have it." I handed her the coin. Again.
"Alright, your room'll be up those stairs" She pointed.
We walked and saw the same few nords sitting, singing songs.
"Never seen a cat folk before,"The nord said again,"Where you two from?"
"Nowhere." I answered, quickly and continued to the room.
"Don't cause trouble!" He raised his voice,"We don't need theivin' cats 'round here".
We found the stairs and went up. We saw double doors and opened them. I was nervous.
"J'zeshi? Are you alright?" Brienda asked,"Open your eyes silly, it's just a room."
I opened my eyes and saw a normal room, a double bed, some tables, decoration...
"I need sleep." I said, and went to the bed.
"Wait," She threw my journal at my head, "Every day, remember?"

Time to sleep. Today was too weird.

Day 2

We started for Riverwood when we woke up. When we got there we met an elf carrying some firewood.
"You passing through, Khajiit?" He asked us.
"Yes. Is there any work available in town?" I asked him. Brienda and I only had about 93 gold between us both.
"You wanna do my job for me?" He asked me.
"Sure. What?" I asked him.
"Go chop some wood and I'll come back and pay you for it. There's an ax over there that you'll need."
"Ok."
"Thanks, Khajiit." He turned and walked into town.
"Well, that was easy." Brienda said to me.
"Here, take some coin and go around town." I gave her 30 gold to spend.
"Alright, thanks, J'zeshi."
I went across a wooden plank path over the water to the wood pile. I saw the ax the elf mentioned and began chopping the wood. After about two hours the elf came over to me and started carrying the wood.
"Thanks, Khajiit," He took some of the wood,"Here take some coin."
He handed me a coin purse with about 40 gold inside,"Thankyou."
He left with the wood and I started across the plank bridge and went into the town. I saw people walking across the main street and talking to each other. I noticed a blacksmith on the left. I went over to him.
"You new here, Khajiit?" He asked me, pounding at the forge.
"Just passing through," I told him,"Can I sharpen my dagger at your grindstone?"
"You got the material?"
"I was thinking of buying it."
"Let me see the dagger and I can fix it up for you."
"Ok," I took the dagger out of my tunic and handed it to him.
"Elven Dagger, eh?" He said, looking at it,"Where'd you get this?"
"I found it in a cave a few months ago."
"I can sharpen it and fix it up for you for..."He thought,"Let's say 60 gold."
"Well,"I thought,"I'm not sure, I don't have much."
"Well, how about 48?" He asked.
"That I think is alright."I went through my knapsack and got out the 48 gold. I handed it to him.
"Thanks, hang on a second." He lumbered over to the grindstone and worked on it. I lied about where I got the dagger. I stole it from a bandit in a cave, rather than just finding it. I took some coin and the dagger and got out of there.
After about six minutes he got up and shook the dagger a few times and handed it to me.
"Thankyou, sir." I accepted. I walked back down the wooden stairs and looked around the town. I saw Brienda walking toward me.
"J'zeshi, I found a place to sleep tonight. An inn." She said.
"How much?" I asked her.
"Ten gold a room, did you get the coin from that elf?" She inquired.
"Yes, I did,"I told her, "I also fixed up my dagger at the blacksmith."
"How much was that?"
"48 gold." I told her
"Wait, how much did the elf give you?"
"40 gold." I informed her.
"Well, here's the rest of what I have," She handed me 16 gold,"Also, here's some bread."
I took the gold and put it in my sack. I ate the bread in a few seconds. It was kind of stale, but it was fine. We had 71 gold left, so we headed to the inn to see how much the room was.
As we opened door, we heard a bard singing a song about the dragons of the past.
"The owner is over here," Brienda pulled me. I saw a blonde Nord woman using an alchemy table,"This is my brother, J'zeshi."
She turned and said hello.
"How much for a room?" I asked her.
"Well we have two free rooms for each of you. One is ten gold." She told us.
"Ok, we'll take both, if that's ok," I searched for the coin,"Here."
She took the coin and brought it into a room. She came out and pointed to the two rooms, "Over there."
We walked into one of the rooms and talked for a few seconds,"So, pretty good, right?" She asked me.
"Yes. Glad to not sleep in a cave, again."
"Ha, well let's go into the main room and get some food?"
"Alright."
As we walked out of the room a drunken Nord screamed.
"We got a few kitty cats in the building!" He yelled, gulping more mead,"Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!"
I ignored him and went to the cook," What do you have?"
"We got some beef. Just cooked." He said.
"How much?"I asked him.
"16 gold a pl-"
"KITTY CAT!! Meow!" The drunken Nord screamed.
"Embry get's too drunk sometimes." The cook said.
"Meow, meow, meow!" He yelled,"Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!"
I got up and walked over to him.
"Kitty cat angwy?! Ha!"
I pulled back my fist and punched him right in the face and knocked the mead right out of his mouth. I walked back to the table with Brienda and the beef was ready.
The meat was good and tasty. After we were finished I headed to my room. Brienda followed me.
"Are you ok?" She asked.
"I'm fine," I told her,"I'm going to go to sleep now, I'm tired."
"Alright. I'm going to the town for a little longer."
"Here," I handed her the coin purse,"Don't spend it all."
"Alright," She walked out," Oh, and don't forget to write in your journal." She reminded me and shut the door.
I got it out and stared at the entry from yesterday. I turned the page and recalled the day.

Day 1

The Nords here in Skyrim are all annoying.
I once met an Argonian who said a Nord shot him in the leg for just being an Argonian. The arrow went through his leg. I don't remember the rest of his tale, but the point remains.
Sleeping in a cave isn't the best thing to do. Writing by torchlight. Brienda is sound asleep, right now.
So, I'm writing this, because my sister suggested I started a journal. I really don't know what to write right now, so see you tomorrow.
